BROKEN SILENCE

The artist has excelled with his painting of Mosquitos heading out across the East Anglian countryside on low-level precision strike against occupied Europe. As the sun sets in a glorious evening sky, the peace of the water meadows is shattered by the sudden thunder of Rolls Royce Merlin engines. Wild ducks take flight a pair of moorhens scuttle for cover in the rushes. Only 1250 in the edition each print is signed by three of the Mosquitos greatest and most famous WWII pilots: Leonard Cheshire, John Cunningham and Ivor Broom.
